Life Cycle Assessment of Anterior Cruciate Ligament

Given the considerable number of ACL surgeries in the US (100,000 per year) and their association with environmental impacts, waste generation, and resource depletion, this research aims to quantify an ACL reconstruction surgery’s environmental impacts using a comprehensive LCA approach.
